I have a busy week ahead as it's half term. Today was a full day of Wildfamilies at one of our own reserves. Family drop in sessions for any ages with the usual fayre - den building, nature based crafts, campfire, mud kitchen, bug hunting...
It was a beautifully sunny morning and mild too, sheltered from the wind here, but there was a sudden heavy downpour at 2ish which soaked everything and then passed over. Most annoying... had to take soggy kit back and spread it out all over the office once again after being optimistic that this day was going to be a dry kit day where we could just pack it away and leave it in the van ready for next time.
We were walking with the mine and sisters grankids.and we got caught in that sudden downpour..we did shelter for a while under a bridge,but we all got pretty wet!
