More time at home means we've finally been able to make a start of doing something with the garden. Only a very small start... some patio weeding (we've not done anything in the garden for nearly 2 years!!).
I'd genuinely forgotten there were bricks around the slabs, haha, I've not seen them for so long. The cracks are full of all sorts - grass a plenty but also clover, ragwort, dandelions, bittercress... I'm a bit loathe to pull them up as so many insects are living between the cracks, but we have ever changing plans for this garden which involve a new patio area using nicer stone and a better shape so it needs to be done at some point and insects / wildlife will have a big influence on what we do so they'll benefit in the long run. The rest of the garden is even wilder and again packed full of insects so we'll leave the wild lawn over the summer for their benefit (and mine, being a bug lover!!)
