We left the house today for a change! It's been 3 weeks since we last shopped so we had to go and restock the cupboards. That's a chore in normal times but I have even less desire to go to a supermarket at the moment! We had a very late lunch due to that so weren't all that hungry this evening. We were just going to have a big piece of cake, but I felt I should do a little better than that, being pregnant, so had a smaller piece of cake and some fruit with it! Once again, I failed to take a photo of anything else!
How are you feeling anyway. Having a good pregnancy? Not too ill and with pains? Hope you can enjoy the moments together before it all changes and there is a third party ;-)
@overalvandaan Thanks for asking! Honestly, I've had it very easy! I'm feeling fine at the moment. Not had any sickness at all at any point and feel I've only suffered mildly. I get a few leg cramps here and there, backache when I've walked a lot or been on my feet all day but other than that, no problems so I'm feeling lucky. Perhaps my luck will run out in the third trimester but I'm hoping it'll stay plain sailing for me to the end (followed by a quick and easy birth of course, haha!)
The hardest thing for me has been the weight gain. I've gained 9kg so far, maybe 10 by now and I've just never been this heavy before so I'm feeling the extra weight. It's all gone on my lower half so my legs feel heavy and simple things like walking, getting over a stile or even getting out of bed at times seem so difficult and are sometimes quite tiring!
I feel like I got really lucky as I was supposed to working full time and I'm sure I'd not be feeling this good if I was plus the extra time at home is really good as we have time to do things that we wouldn't be doing otherwise - like making a start on the garden!
We had hoped to go on holiday in May or June, our last child free break, which obviously won't happen, and I'm disappointed about that as we didn't go away last year either, but in the grand scheme that doesn't really matter and whilst we can't go anywhere, we can still relax at home and do some local walks or something so it's not too bad.
