What I Read in April

I didn't actually spend all that much of my time reading this month 😂 I've spent much more time doing various other things yet I've still managed to take a whole 10 books off the to be read shelves... all thanks to the current situation 😄

I'm really hoping we get another three weeks of the current lockdown rules. I know I'm probably in the minority there but I think lockdown is brilliant! I've already read good chunks of my next two reads too and hope to do at least as well in May on the reading front!
What did you think of Circe??? I really enjoyed it.

Good choices. I’ve got Heroes on my list to read.

@tinley23 I liked it! I also have Mythos on the shelf, the first book - I thought I'd read it, so read Heroes, but then realised Mythos is still on the 'to be read' shelf. Not that it really mattered, I just like to read things in the correct order!

@30pics4jackiesdiamond I'm not sure!! I did enjoy it but not as much as I expected too... it was an engaging enough retelling in some ways but in other ways I felt the writing let it down and it was also quite dull at the same time.

I didn't know the myth, so it was all new to me

@30pics4jackiesdiamond I didn't either, there was just something about it I didn't enjoy at times, I think it just dragged a bit in places perhaps! I'd like to read some of her other books though.
