First Family Outing! by roachling

First Family Outing!

Jasper is almost 19 weeks old and today was the first time we've been out properly as a little family! We had a short walk at Ilam and Dave and I had takeaway hot chocolates.

Do good to get out... only managed to walk about 1.5 miles and stayed for just an hour, but it's a start. If only I could get Jasper in a sling, it'd open up our walking opportunities a lot! I don't think he'll ever tolerate a carrier (think it's too restricting for him!) but I'll keep trying him as pushchair walks (even finding them) are a pain!
Looks nice place to visit on your first stroll

Have you tried one of those sling/carriers where they are facing out so able to see everything?

How lovely for you all - looks beautiful.

@kjarn He's not quite old enough to be facing forwards yet, but I'm hoping that will be the case... I think he'll be much happier with that so I'll try it in another month or so. It's not recommended before 6 months due to spine position and head control but as he's a strong and feisty one, I'll start him at 5 months for very short periods and see how he goes!.
