I couldn't decide on a photo for today so made a collage.
A very disturbed night, didn't get much sleep and then Jasper decided he was awake awake at 4:15... we ended up back on the beach from my previous post by 8:30am! Jasper went running off in to the sea for a splash.
Later in the day, we went to Criccieth. Dave and I visited in 2006 when we were camping in Beddgelert for a few days and collected pebbles which became four pebble people. I wanted to get another one to mark our trip there, 16 years later, with Jasper.
Jasper had another little paddle with grandpa and enjoyed messing about with the pebbles on the beach.
And fun was had by all.
Looking at Jasper, running around bare foot and not a welly in sight, reminds me of my latest mini monster. He's a bit younger than Jasper at 14 months, he's not into wellies, but will wear socks.
However he seems to think shoes are some kind of medieval torture device and refuses to wear any at all !
@markp Good for him! I'm a big fan of going barefoot. I know wellies have been the footwear in many of my photos, but Jasper's life has been mostly barefoot - at home and in the garden and local park, and with footwear when needed. Now he's a bit bigger I let him choose and he prefers socks and/or shoes but I do push for bare feet when I can!
