The bees were still quiescent this morning so I took one inside for a little more of a studio shoot. Tried to maximize DOF and fill the frame in one exposure. May try focus stacking later.
Fantastic macro! GREAT details. A fav. My brother, the entomologist technician, is able to capture a bee without getting stung. Me? I get stung just walking out into the garden.
I have to Fav this, because it is just an awesome shot. Incredible detail. Look at that eye! (Can you tell I grew up with a budding entomologist? My sister has her Ph.D. in entomology.)
