The Bold Jumping Spider I've had as a pet for quite awhile had built a cool silk nest/shelter in her jar and I noticed a thick area in the center with what looked like eggs. I took a look earlier in the week and sure enough they had started to hatch. These are about a week old and still in the nest but emerged from the egg sack. I think they already molted and should be out and looking for food soon, time to start a fruit fly culture. This is at around 5X through the glass and silk, backlit with an LED flashlight.
Where would you be keeping these spiders once they are out? not in the glass I hope.. but by the sound of it your going to provide food for them..well then you'll have lot of pets. Interesting looking picture.
well, congratulations! As you know, I'm terrified of spiders, but I have grown to love jumpers...well, to a point. I don't need any around me, but I can appreciate their cute faces in photographs.

Had to come over and see what you've been up to lately and thank you for id Livia's treehopper. Now here's an interesting thing.......spiders are maybe the one thing I have to be brave about but these look tiny enough for me....like everyone else we ant to know what you are going to do with these......watch this space I guess!! So good to see such tiny detail.
