National Trust Greyfriars

This medieval house was built in the 1400s, it was in a dire state and due for demolition in the 1940s but a sister and brother worked to restore the house and finally donated it to the National Trust. The photo is from the back where there is a terrace and garden, the front is more impressive!

Wow! 600 years old. So glad that there are people willing and able to save and restore treasures like this. Great capture

@madeinnl @4rky It is amazing that there was a plan to demolish it..The windows were put in using glass collected from bomb damaged buildings during the Second World War!
