Autumn colours

I wasn't sure what I was going to photograph today, but luckily Denzel wandered into my garden to locate the source of all the birdsong. He was a very friendly and obliging model.

His beautiful coat and eyes made me look up cats' colours and patterns, and I was amazed at the amount of material there is, pictures and charts, endlessly, page after page.

Handsome Denzel would be amused at reading for example this: "Breed standards define which eye colours are permitted with the fur colour." I think he would have a big laugh. ;-))
