The gate of peace by rumpelstiltskin

The gate of peace

This is a side entrance to Westminster Cathedral. The mosaic above the door was added in 1982 in honour of Pope John Paul II's visit to Britain. It reads "Porta sis ostium pacificum par eum qui se ostium appellavit, Jesus Christum (May this door be the gate of peace through Him who called Himself the gate, Jesus Christ)"; it's also a good place to stop and look at your phone in the lunch hour! Today's photo isn't terribly sharp, and I can't tell if it's my eyes or the lens that isn't focussing well.
I like the composition, the people are perfectly placed by this lovely entrance. The sharpness thing happens on mine sometimes. I am never sure if it is me or the lens either!

I like the peaceful picture and the color and movement of the person in the foreground.
