Lunar House is a 20 storey office building occupied by the Immigration department of the Home Office. It was completed in 1970, and its name was inspired by the moon landings (as was Apollo House, next door). Both buildings were the work of developer Harry Hyams, who is most famous for Centre Point in Tottenham Court Road. He died in 2015, leaving an art collection worth nearly £400m to the nation.
