St Clement Danes

St Clement Danes is the Central Church of the Royal Air Force, and commemorates those who lost their lives serving in the RAF. It also contains memorials to Commonwealth Air Forces and the Polish Air Force. The church is originally thought to have been founded by the Danes in the 9th Century. It was rebuilt in the Middle Ages, and again in the 1680s by Sir Christopher Wren. It was heavily bombed during the Blitz, and restored following an appeal by the RAF.
Beautiful interior shot and great to hve some of the history.
