The Golden Roof

The Goldenes Dachl (Golden Roof) is one of Innsbruck's most famous sights - as you can see, it is unmissable even on a rainy day. It was built by Emperor Maximilian I c1500 to celebrate his marriage to his second wife, Bianca Maria Sforza.
