The Royal Crescent, Bath by rumpelstiltskin

The Royal Crescent, Bath

I've just returned from a trip to the city of Bath, which is famous for its Georgian architecture. Jane Austen lived here for a while, so its buildings sometimes appear in TV and film adaptations of her novels.

This is a shot of the Royal Crescent, a row of 30 terraced houses built between 1767 and 1775 by John Wood the Younger. It is an architectural icon, and one of many places that a visitor to Bath has to see.
Really nice lines. Love the curves.

Lovely sweeping curves. How did you get such a wide spacious angle with a 350mm lens. I have been to Bath on several occasions, but never got to The Royal Crescent

@followthatdreamphotography Thanks Michael! I’m not sure why, but the exif data is incorrect - this was taken with a 12mm lens and an APS-C body.
