This is the Marble Hall at Holkham, seat of the Earls of Leicester. The entrance hall is actually made of alabaster rather than marble, and is inspired by Rome's Pantheon and the Temple of Fortuna Virilis. It took local craftsmen 20 years to complete their work on the building, which dates from the 18th Century.
