One of the upsides of being locked down has been finding new places to visit for my daily walk. I hadn't known about this local nature reserve, but it is a great place to watch birds. So far I have seen a heron, grebes, coots and moorhens, but a local ornithologist has spotted nearly 70 species of bird. I'm not sure what type of eggs are on the platform, but it will be exciting to find out.
