Dorich House was the former home and studio of the sculptor Dora Gordine and her husband Richard Gilbert Hare (hence the name Dorich). Now a museum, the house was built to Gordine's design and completed in 1936. It was her home until her death in 1991, and fell into disrepair until Kingston University acquired the funds to restore it. https://www.dorichhousemuseum.org.uk
