The Great Hall at Knole.

Knole was owned by the Sackville family from 1603 until it was gifted to the National Trust in 1946. It was the childhood home of the writer Vita Sackville-West, and inspired Virginia Woolf's novel Orlando.

What a cool old house - do you think there are secret rooms/passageways? The detail everywhere - I love to imagine the people from long ago walking these majestic rooms
