Karo seed by rustymonkey

Karo seed

This is the very ripe seed pods of our native Karo, (Pittosporum crassifolium). Came across these on our bike ride around the wetlands in Napier, no wonder there were lots of wildlife around with an abundance of seed to feast on.
Instant fav - love everything about it!
