You really are lucky being in Northland for the scenery! Not perhaps for the social problems but for the climate and the wonderful beaches like this one!
@alinz we are at One Tree Point. Near Ruakaka. Paihia is a beautiful place as well, have not been up that way for a few years, think it is time for a visit again.
@maggiemae It sure is a beautiful place to live, we are lucky, we are 30 mins south of Whangarei. It is an awesome small town with no real social problems like they have up North further. I fell so privileged to have this view from my kitchen window.
