Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
a beautiful portrait, the light on her is just lovely! As we've been paired for this week's get pushed challenge, I've been looking through your photos and have seen quite a diversity of things, and that you've also recently upgraded your camera, and you've hinted a little while ago that you hadn't ventured off of auto. Having been in that situation myself relatively recently, my challenge to you is to take a step toward manual and use a longer shutter speed (2-4 seconds, perhaps) - on my camera (which is a sony), if I switch to "S" I can adjust the shutter speed but the camera figures everything else out, soI found it to be a relatively easy introduction into the manual world. good luck!
Great perspective and focus Sally and I think you've used the light really well. She is beautiful, and I agree with Amy, she looks like she is intelligent - there is just that glint in her eye. Lovely shot.
@dhostick Donna, I have been experimenting over the last month and funnily long shutter speed is something that I want to do so your challenge is going to push me into action!
@pasadenarose Her father was a Border Collie, her mum is an Australian Shepherd. She is too smart for her own shoes, drives me dilly at times because she understands far to many words!
