Went riding again today. John, the riding instuctor has to fetch the horses as they are in a field accessible only by 4x4. It is just wonderful to see him arrive leading three horses without any problems!

Wow, such well behaved horses. Did you have fun? I like the composition of this shot; and that the horses just seem to have a calmness in the way they're walking.
@louiesphotos It is just so relaxing and enjoyable. I try to go once a week. All these horses are ex polo horses that have been rescued and rehabilitated! Bonnie and I always planned on doing a long ride here in the mountains but her health deteriorated so fast we never managed to do it. On my ride yesterday I kept thinking about her so it was as if she was with me!
@salza I'm sure she was Sally. When you posted that photo I felt that it would have been a hard; though enjoyable; thing for you to do as I got the impression it would have been something Bonnie would have enjoyed. I hope you're doing ok. I suppose doing things you planned together is a way to keep her memory alive; and from what I know of her; I'm sure she would want you to continue. My Mum (who is a devoted follower of my project) asked to see Bonnie's album and tribute page, and loved both. Bonnie touched even those she didn't come in direct contact with.
Great capture and composition. Love how you have their complete shadows in the shot. I learned to ride when I was 5. Have not done it in many years. I'd like the one on his right side please. :) Fav'd.
