This precious Rhodesian Ridgeback pup was dropped at the vet for euthanasia. She is about 8 to 9 months old. There is nothing wrong with her other than she is lonely and goes in search of company!
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
@victorypuzzle Unfortunately we already have three medium to large dogs so I'm unable to take her in. We have found a temporary foster home for her and hopefully ith the help of the Ridgeback rescue group a forever home for her is just around the corner!
@sjodell I wish there was some way of branding people like this so that they would never be able to own another dog! @victorypuzzle as far as I know the Ridgeback rescue group will rehome any where in the country provided the home inspection passes. I can send you more info if you want.
@thebluegnu I was so tempted but I must be realistic, already have three medium to large dogs and summer is my busy time orkwise, often working from 7:30 till 6pm, 5 to 6 days a week!
Poor little thing! We, in my family, always remember our erdel-terrier Brenda whom we couldn't save... A very nice shot and so thughtful and expressive eyes!
They dropped her off at the vet to be put down? I can't believe the way some people treat animals.
I'm so glad you were able to step in and help this sweet pup, and I hope she finds her forever home.
I do hope you're able to be a liason for her to be rehomed- goodness- to just drop her off to die? But then that's what some people do to their parents in a nursing home. Beautiful shot- and hopefully the means to finding her a forever home too.

We live on a smallholding with loads of ground and have two other dogs.
I'm so glad you were able to step in and help this sweet pup, and I hope she finds her forever home.
