@nadines Really quite easy. This is a nice simple tutorial and so easy to follow: http://www.photoble.com/photoshop-tutorials/5-easy-steps-to-create-a-mini-panorama-planet-in-photoshop I only have Photoshop Elements, but the process is the same.

@summerfield I used Photoshop Elements. I'm sure one could use Gimp as well. Need a filter called 'polar co-ordinates'
