Clock

Was trying to get some double exposure pictures of the clock showing the hands in different positions. It didn't work out like I had hoped!
Very interesting idea. With a slow shutter speed you could blur the second hand .....

@pennyp my original idea was slow shutter to get the second hand blur. I did 60 seconds, 30 seconds and a 15 second and only on very close inspection could you see the blur! Maybe I had too much light, not sure. Will experiment again.

Still a very nice shot!!! And I can see the other hands... they are just more distant!

I love the idea! There are definitely a few extra second hands there. Which reminds me I still have to get my inherited clock fixed!

Maybe it wasn't what you were aiming for but it is an interesting image and it sounds as though you have learnt something from your experiment so definitely worthwhile.

It still makes an interesting image- a photographic depiction of the saying, "Time marches on".

Love it because the effect is so subtle!
