When I was a youngster, we lived in Switzerland for a few months on my Uncles farm. We used to collect our milk in these. It came straight from the cows. No pasteurisation. I caught TB and still have scarring on my lungs today which is causing me problems. The milk, however, was the best milk I've ever had!

Great shot, Sally! And the b&w is perfect. (Also makes me wonder why I've never used my old milk urn as a prop for something!)
