Whilst watching the herd of elephants interacting at the waterhole, my husband told me to check behind the car. This is taken through the rear passenger window (lefthand side) and has not been cropped. I thought this bull elephant was going to walk right into the car! At the last minute he veered and went by on the righthand side.

@ericdibosco I agree no malice there but his size alone is a tad intimidating! I have a picture as he walked by my husband's window and all I got are some hairs on his chin! I didn't get a change to open up the lens so it was still at 100mm, which is what I was using to take pics of the herd at the water.
Beautiful, reminds me of my close encounter in Pilanesberg 1,5 years ago. At the moment it happens your heart is racing but afterwards you have this amazing memory and story.
