I am fortunate enough to see this view on a daily basis. The lush green wheat field with a field of canola in the background belies the fact that we have drought conditions and the dams are nearly empty.
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
What a fantastic view to have every day! Super shot, I love the colours and the layers to this. Thank you for my challenge for get pushed this week. I have been looking through your project - you have many stunning photos Sally, and are clearly a very technical and accomplished photographer. So my challenge to you this week is to find something that is out of context and shoot it in any way that you wish. If this does not appeal, please let me know! Have fun, Anne
@365anne Thanks Anne, I'm sure I can come up with something.
@jocasta no Joy it's not an annual problem. Over the last few years we have experienced a much lower than average rainfall. Sadly many people are not careful with their water usage and hence the outflow is much higher than the inflow!
