@theredcamera no Ellen, it is quick and easy. I find it much easier to remove the towel when need and I think that I can store more towels in the space than if I left them folded flat. Most of the guesthouses in South Africa store their towels rolled.
@ludwigsdiana not sure if it is unique to SA or not but you certainly see a lot of rolled towels in guesthouses. Also in public bathrooms that still offer non paper towel option for drying your hands
