In English this translates to “The walking stick of St Joseph”. How this came to be I don’t know but, I think that paintings and statues representing St Joseph all have a flower, or flowers, like this included. I haven’t had time to try and find what their botanical name is or what they are commonly called. Have seen them while walking my daughter's dog in the area where she lives a couple of days ago.
