We eventually flew out of Naples over an hour late - a previous flight had been held up due to a poorly passenger so there was nothing to complain about!!
Not ideal taking a photo from aeroplane window but I loved seeing the twinkling lights and full moon as we left.
What a week. Won't forget all we saw and enjoyed and the people who led the way with their passion for what they knew. Pompeii and Herculaneum, Amalfi coast area and trip to Capri and of course all the exploring of Sorrento and enjoying the sunshine.
We had a little visit to Grannie this morning before heading home. Good to get here.
Three good things
1. Grannie loved the flowers we bought her.
2. Painters had been busy working on external parts of the house while we were away!!
3. Food shop on the way home - fridge full of healthy ingredients and a good hint of Italy!
