St Andrew's Day in Scotland today, so I could have found something topical in blue and white, or whatever....
But I found this on the floor beside my sofa this morning and quickly realised it had been inside the scarf I left at my brother's house recently.
His lovely wife had carefully wrapped it in bubble wrap and posted it through the letterbox when she was out this way on Saturday....😊
A sweet gesture from a very kind lady.
Three good things
1. A sweet start to a day....I'll keep it in my pocket and think of all the people whose hugs I miss!!
2. Busy with a colleague recycling paper....some ancient resources that had been in school for too long, and one spelling book which was older than me!!!!! published in 1953!!!
3. Lovely leftovers for dinner and a quiet evening watching TV ....and early to bed.
We should all have one of these in our pockets Sallie...what a beautiful thought from your sister in law....very comforting in times like these. In its own little bag too....special!
How lovely! I too should have posted something 'Scottish' yesterday, but didn't. I did send up (via hubby) a plate of haggis to my dad in Braemar though, so I didn't forget! We're having ours tonight.
