After many hours over two days I think I'm getting the idea. The green ship(!) Was very tricky! In the end I used regular cotton thread to mark the pattern out and then stitched using the pearlised cotton. That seems to be ok.
Hardanger word is from Norway.....a place /area where it is a traditional technique. 😊
