I was on a training course today which was held at the Manchester Chinese Arts Centre, which reminded me of various objects I brought back from a trip to China 20 years ago. The cup was a present from a friend a few years ago.
When I got home from the training, I also had a postcard from China! I'm a member of the post-crossing website http://www.postcrossing.com/ and so occasionally receive postcards from random places around the globe, and today's continued the Oriental theme!
@phil_howcroft@patticake@moominmomma Thanks - once the word occured to me, it all came together .. including putting a favourite pashmina of mine to good use as the back-cloth!
It was an interesting trip .. as well as these souvenirs, I brpught back LOADS of photos, although not as many as if I'd had a digital camera! @patticake@moominmomma@phil_howcroft@sparkle
