I crossed a line today ....

Up to now I have bought fruit with the primary motivation of wanting to eat it, and then have occasionally taken photos of it before I do.

Today, however, my main motivation for buying this fig was to photograph it for my 'occasional fruit series', and then eat it afterwards. I'm not even that keen on figs! Fig rolls, though, those I like ..

So, not as saucy a photo as yesterday :o) .. but figs are supposed to be pretty sensual and an aphrodisiac .. http://bit.ly/e3gic8

... although, like I say, they don't really do it for me!
oh err Sarah, I followed the link......your occasional fruit series is becoming very ......how can I say......in a nice way .......very exciting...i cannot wait for the next instalment :)

What did you do with the leaf ?

I'm pleased you crossed the line to share this :)

I'm not a big fan of figs either, although it has it's great benefits. Great textures in this shot.

@phil_howcroft And I haven't even done a banana yet!! LOL ... :o)

@angievega Thanks :o) ... I'm the same with blueberries - so many people rave about them, but I find them a bit boring, tbh!

In Spanish, fig ("higo"), is a euphemism for the lady parts...I don't know if that makes them sensual, but there you have it. hahaha :-)

@davidchrtrans So asking someone in spanish if they like to eat figs could be misconstrued?! LOL

@sarahhorsfall yes... yes it very much could be misconstrued, and it is a frequent double entendre used by stand-up comics... and by countless others, actually. hahahaha
