I had a quiet, pootling, kinda day on Monday .. it was a beautifully sunny day, so I went for a walk to my local park to get some fresh air. The last bit of sunshine was catching the few clouds in the sky and making great silhouettes of the trees (and the hospital incinerator chimney!). I am sooo glad that we're now into the bit of the year where the days are getting gradually longer again :o)
I *had* thought it was the penultimate day of my christmas break - as I'm back in to school on Wednesday - but when I happened to check my work diary (for the first time in 2 weeks) I realised I'd signed up to do a shift at my second job on Tuesday afternoon which I had since forgotten all about!! It was quite strange, having to suddenly 'reframe' the day as my last day off! I'm just glad I checked in time to make sure I didn't miss the shift.
