(Too Late for) SPLASH

As I was entering at the part of the pond where the swan's nest is, I heard lots of commotion - ducks and Canada geese were chasing each other and creating great SPLASHes. But as soon as I arrived they stopped - almost as if they didn't want to be seen fighting with each other. I waited and waited to see if they would do it again, but no such luck.

This photo is not the clearest, but I liked the sense of motion - still need to do a lot of work capturing birds in motion. And hopefully, I will be able to catch some birds creating a SPLASH another day.....

Good try. I like that feeling of motion, too. It's better than any in flight shots I've gotten. Timing is so hard to get right. They always take off before I'm ready.
