The word/photo challenge today is INSPIRE. Cheating a little as this was taken yesterday, but today has been a very slow, quiet day after the busy exciting day we had.
This is FireSound - a band of mostly FireFighters who like to play - they have been doing this for about 10 years with lots of changes in the lineup. My son, with his bass guitar, has been there since the beginning. They had been invited to play at Harbourfront on Saturday and Sunday afternoon - and drew a rousing crowd of enthusiastic supporters. Finally the hard work is starting to pay off and they are getting asked to play at more venues in support of Camp Bucko (for children suffering from burns) and Muscular Dsytrophy. They have raised over $40,000 from donations and the sale of their CD "Burning Fire".
