Now I know why they are called Day Lilies - they only last one day - if you look at my photos from the past two days you will see the progression from bud ready to open to fully open and now today to withering. By tomorrow I will be picking the spent flowers off so that others can grow. The plants are just ready to burst with lots of buds - I think I will be busy for the next while trying to keep up.....
