With the tree gone the room looks so much bigger and barer. But in taking down the decorations, the wooden name of my first daughter fell and broke - it is now being mended. So actually two things are missing.....
It is strange to take down the decorations and it does suddenly seem bear and open. But in the end we get used it again for another 11 months till we put it up again. Glad the wooden name of your first daughter is being fixed. I'm sure that is very special to you. I like your image.
Sort of sums up my weekend. At leas you didn't do what some idiot in our complex did, try to dispose of the tree down the rubbish chute, consequently blocking it...
