Thought I'd try something distinctly mundane today (and definitely not snow related!).
This is part of a bit of kit the guys at work have just finished. Some of the more mechnanically minded have been known to refer to the Amps and the Volts side of things as Elec-trickery - as an Electrical Engineer this always makes me smile a bit.
Indeed... you just can't beat a mix ac / dc servo motor and a good run of Oflex. Very nice of Baldor to provide photogenic heat sinks on their drives these days ;)
