Day 73 - River Avon, Gt Somerford

A shot cross the River Avon towards Great Somerford in Wiltshire.

This is a seven shot HDR, but very gently processed to bring out some of shadow detail.

Seven shot HDR I will have to find out what that means? Fantastic reflections and a lot of interesting things going on in the photo. Great colour too

Amazing tonal range Kev, not the most subtle HDR but importantly, not too overkill. The bonfire adds some real interest. Nice one.

I like this - some HDR is overkill but this is just right - imho Nice composition

@johnfalconer @barrowlane @ch1ppy_m1nton @malc Thanks all. Curious one this, hard shot to take into the sun, so used a polarising filter as well. I think that brought out a lot of the contrasts. Ultimately, though, composition too busy IMHO.

HDR works very well here. Brings out the green and smoke nicely.
