My cycling club, Chippenham Wheelers, hosts a hilly time trial up Lyneham Banks in Wiltshire a couple a times a year.
Time Trials are known as the "race of truth", because there's no place to hide, it's just you against the clock. This is on a hill, and as you can tell from the face, it's hurting!
@ch1ppy_m1nton Thanks Chippy - don't race anymore - migraines have put paid to that sadly. Still try and ride though.
Must try and get to a motorised hill-climb for a shoot - that would be pretty good fun! BTW this was shot with my Canon 100mm Macro - it's a really good action lens as long as you don't mind the lack of zoom.

of course, hill climbing should really be done at speed, with a motorized form of transport ;-)
