Day 128 - Stylus by snaggy

Day 128 - Stylus

How these things have ever worked I'll never know (and me an engineer - it's like aeroplane wings - I understand the theory but I still look in disbelief when I see 400 tons of airliner drag itself into the sky...)

Anyway, here we have a stylus on some precious vinyl....
Amazing, I agree. You've made good use of DOF to emphasize the point.

Now that takes me right back to my youth. The world of styli and cartridges and amplifiers that had "tremolo" on them not "treble"... and transistor radios with Radio Caroline marked on the dial... and eight track players...

@steampowered Now you are going back a bit too far, Paul ;-)
Reminds me of the time I asked my dear old dad what "solid state" meant on my transistor radio when I was a kid (you could tell I was going to be an engineer), and for once there was an eerie silence from my font of knowledge.....
