Could see this rapeseed field from the house on the side of the hill in the distance. So took a diversion of the usual route to the village of Highway (geddit?), and saw this tree in the field. Waited until the clouds threw the trees in the background into shade, and there was the shot.
Officially six months through... Part of mean thinks, "Really? Already?", whilst part of me thinks where am I going to get another 184 photos from....
Beautiful shot, Kev. I have the same feeling about being half done -- the half year seemed to whiz by but I also have a nagging feeling about where I'm going to find the images to finish the year!

Wonderful shot and I love the bright yellow! Some people hate rapeseed but the colour is just fabulous, so I am one of the likers! Great composition and love the light. Congrats on the 6 months and I'm sure you will find inspiration for the remaining 6.
What can I say that hasn't been said. Classy shot. I like the effort that's gone into the sun on the foreground tree. I also Like that It almost looks like its caught "yellow" off the rape with its yellowy green against the bluer green of the background!
