Went back to my happy hunting hunting ground of the Marlborough Downs and I noticed the moon was coming up.
Came up with the bright idea (!?!) of aligning the Monument and the Moon - it took ages as the Moon moves quickly!
Worth viewing large if you have the time and inclination - you may just make out two walkers and their dog to the left of the monument which gives it a sense of scale.
