A shot of Lac du Jaunay, taken just after sunset. Exposed this to the right and had to process it a bit in LR to get the cart and tree out of the shadows - this is actually someone's garden and I was standing in the road to get this! So no tripod or anything clever here - handheld and hoped the camera could cope with it, which it did pretty well (much better than the 7D).
Such an idyllic picture! This is brilliant, I love the gently snaking river in the background. And I am very jealous of the person whose garden this is. :)
@sjoblues Thanks Shannon, and for the fav. It wasn't actually HDR'ed, I gave it a bit of exposure compensation to make the shot a bit brighter (and lost a bit of detail in the sky, actually), and then had to bring the shadows out quite strongly in Lightroom. The low light gave it that almost dreamy look.
