The butter cross built in 1744 stands at the top of Broad St.thats were I was standing in the middle of the st. when I was taking this photo so didn't manage to get a very good angle.The church is st. Laurence's it is one of the largest churches in the UK. it has been a place of worship for 900 years
Everytime I think I've found something "old" in the US or Canada, you there in England leave us in the dust! Well, that's just lovely; I'm glad you're sharing local sights with us!
This shot made me feel a bit homesick as we used to live in nearby Herefordshire, before moving to France 6 yrs ago. Ludlow is a very special place with lots of specialist shops. Is the Olive Branch cafe still going strong ?
