Flowers.......... by snowy

Flowers..........

The hollyhocks have done well again this year , we have to keep cutting them down so we can see through the windows the roses are doing there best but are almost over now.
How many kinds of sweet flowers grow
In an English country garden?
We'll tell you now of some that we know
Those we miss you'll surely pardon
Daffodils, heart's ease and phlox
Meadowsweet and lady smocks
Gentian, lupin and tall hollyhocks
Roses, foxgloves, snowdrops, forget-me-nots
In an English country garden

Singing along to Trevor's comment! A gorgeous looking border, hard to think of this in the middle of winter, so you have a great reminder here.
